If you have the patience to sit through 7 minutes of someone drawing then watching this recording of me inking a missile mouse panel should be no problem for you. Around 1:16 I make a line that I don’t like and pause to decide whether I should fix it or not. I decide to go ahead and fix it. I use correction tape for my mistakes because it’s quick and clean. I’m drawing with #2 and #5 Pigma Micron pens.
I apologize for the compression on this. I probably should have shot it at a higher resolution.

Great to see you ink. I’m curious though, what is the song that you’re playing? It piqued my interest.

Bond, Reed Bond: It’s by a group called Lemon Jelly and the track is Ramblin’ Man on the album Lost Horizons.

Hey Jake, that was a great little demonstration of your powers! I think the thing I liked most about it was that you let it run at normal speed. Sometimes when you see these demos they speed them up and it gives you a distorted view of time that’s required to actually do the drawing.
My son, Kyle, enjoyed it too.

There’s surely a few people on this planet who have spent more time watching you draw, but not many. It’s been years but I instantly remembered your grip and your pace. Very refreshing

honestly, watching good artists draw, ink, paint, sculpt, etc. is one of my favorite things to do. and having it on the internet or DVD not only makes it easier to get close-up, but also takes the creepiness factor out of it. Post more! please…
