Thanks everyone for your responses and thoughts in emails and comments on your Inktober books! It was all very insightful and helpful. I replied to everyone in the comments. I could go on and on about it, but I think it’s time to tuck Inktober into bed and not wake it up until next year. Time to move on to other things. Like Unicorn Boy! I love the vintage comic book coloring technique, complete with the slightly offset from the blacks effect you have going on.

How do you get the visual noise that makes it look like it was a comic book print? Or is that the real thing from it’s making?
